Linda Robinson Barr joined OCLC in January 2014 as Member Relations Liaison. Linda has served in many capacities during her career: Library Director and Head of Technical Services at the University of the Virgin Islands, Electronic Resources Librarian at Springfield (MA) City Library, Collection Development Librarian at William Paterson College (NJ), and product manager at Serials Solutions and WebFeat. She also worked at OCLC from 1989–1998, as Product Support Specialist for Cataloging, Manager of Cataloging Services and Electronic Resources Librarian in the OCLC Information Center. Linda’s writings include Web Research: Selecting, Evaluating, and Citing, 2nd edition (Pearson, 2005);selected chapters in the Research Navigator Guide Series (Pearson Education, 2003–2005);and a chapter inWhat Else You Can Do With a Library Degree: Career Options for the 90s and Beyond (Neal Schuman, 1997). She received her MLIS and a bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of Texas at Austin.
